Greene County Extension & Outreach is hosting a series of Ag Coffee events, bringing farmers and other agricultural professionals together for an informal discussion on current ag topics.
The next Ag Coffee is slated for Friday, Jan. 22, from 9:30 to 11:00 am at the Greene County Extension Office meeting room.
This month’s topic will be “Energy Savings for your Home and Farm” with Shawn Shouse, ISU agricultural engineer. He will talk about the big users of energy in homes and on farms, and suggest areas of greatest opportunity for effective and easy energy savings. Attendees should bring your questions and ideas for discussion.
The January meeting is sponsored by Midland Power Cooperative. Reservations are required for social distancing purposes. Persons who want more information or who plan to attend should call the Extension office at 515-386-2138.
